Our family went on a family vacation to Yellowstone National Park. We went the 3rd week in June. It was a little cold but not so bad and thankfully it didn't snow until the morning we went home. The kids had a ton of fun. We were able to see a Bald Eagle in its nest right next to the road. Our truck was also chased by a Buffalo! It seriously chased us down the road, I didn't think it would actually hit us but the park ranger said that cars get hit by Buffalo all the time, so most likely if we didn't run he would have left 2 holes in Jared's truck. Old Faithful was a favorite of my kids. It was fun to see. We also went to a live Bear and Wolf museum, where the kids were able to hide food in the Bear cage then watch the Bears released to find the food and eat it. We had a great time seeing the mud pots, water fall and the many animals, SO glad we were able to go!
Max was born on September 4th at 5:30 p.m. He weighed 7 lbs 3 oz and 21 inches long. Jared and I went into the hospital at 11:00. They started patocin at 12:00 and 5 1/2 hours later a crying baby boy was laying on my stomach. We named him after Jared's grandpa's. Max is Jared's dads father, and Glenn is Jill's father. Max is a sweet boy. He just eats and sleeps. He is now a month old and is probably close to 10 lbs! During the day he must eat every 3 hours and at night he wakes up every 4 hours to eat. He will eat, burp and go right back to sleep. His Nana has spoiled him so much that he thinks he needs to be held all the time. Max is now talking and smiling to you. Its so cute. All his siblings love him and smother him. They will all call turns to hold him and I am constantly telling them to give him some space and get out of his face. There is no question that he is loved!
