Jared's parents sent Jared's brother with his family and our family to a night of Walking with the Dinosaurs. We had so much fun. I couldn't believe how big the dinosaurs were. All our kids loved it. Sara loves Dinosaurs anyway and knew everyone. Amelia kept asking Sara what the names were. Nicolas sat and watched the whole thing. Amazing considering he barley can sit through a whole movie. We had a great time. Thanks Kevin and Jill!
A little info about the Dinosaurs:
Each large Dinosaur contains
- 433 Feet of hydraulic hose
- 971 feet fabric
- 433 feet of foam
- 53 gallons of paint
- 7 Kilowatts of power from 12 truck batteries
- 1094 yards of cabling in each body
- 24 microprocessors control movement along with 15 hydraulic rams and 6 hydraulic moters each.
Each large Dino also:
- Weighs 1.6 tons
- runs on 6 roller blade wheels
