Camping

Last Friday we left to go camping right after school was out. We went to a camping world in Coalville. Coalville is right outside of Park City. We stayed friday - Wednesday. We slept in, went fishing and swimming when it wasnt to cold to go outside, and the girls went to the outlets in Park City for a little shopping! It was a great way to kick start our summer.

Shelley Elementary Field Day

Shelley Elementary holds a field day every year for their students to show off their dancing skills. The family of the students are invited to watch as each grade performs their own dance. Then after 1st - 6th grades play games in the field for the remainder of the school day. Sara and Amelia are in 3rd grade and their class learned a dance to the Miley Cyrus song - Hoe Down Throw down. All 3rd graders dresses up as country folk in cute cowboy hats and bandannas. I'm not sure how the 3rd grade boys felt about the song and dance but Amelia and Sara were very excited and even showed their dance to their grandparents and great grandparents who couldnt make it. When it was their turn to dance I couldn't get to them to take a picture but I did get a couple of the girls at the field. Sheesh mom as Sara would say! And I do have to agree. Nicolas' Kindergarten class dressed up as Humpty Dumpty and danced to an updated Humpty Dumpty song. It was really cute and I think he was the cutest of all the Kindergartners. (His knobby knees and all) He was really excited for the day also but looked a little nervice out on the field. All 3 danced great dances and looked cute, cute, cute!

Shane Graduates

My little brother Shane who is 12 years younger than me graduated last Thursday. It was very exciting to see him dressed in his cap and gown. The ceremony was at the Provo Tabernacle and was pretty short. We went out for ice cream after and then he went to his after grad parties. It was great and I am proud of him. Congrats little Brother.

IT'S A BOY!

Last Wednesday I went to have my ultrasound to see the baby. Really you have a ultrasound to check the baby for things like their size and check organs which is very important to make sure baby is healthy. Before my appointment Jared and I talked about not finding out what the sex of the baby will be and at first I didn't like the idea because I needed to feel prepared for the baby. But after a little thought I decided it would be fun not to find out. But the day of my appointment I caved, I had to know. So while I was at my apt the ultrasound lady was checkin out the baby and the front of his body was turned toward my back so we couldn't see his face or heart. She was looking all around at things I have no idea what they were then all of a sudden she sees that his knees are pulled up to his chest and his little boy part was hanging out for us to see. He didn't care if we saw his face or heart he just wanted us to know that he is a BOY!

Because he is a stinker and wouldn't let us have a good look at him, next month I am scheduled for another ultrasound to check him out! It will be fun to see him again.

Surprise!!

Jared and I found out in December that we would be expecting another baby. We were both very shocked but also very excited. I needed 4 pregnancy tests to make sure and then a few weeks more to believe, in the end it is true! I am 16 weeks - end of my fourth month, and the baby is due August 19th. We now have Sara and Amelia who are 9 then Nicolas - 5 and Colby - 2. This 5th baby will be the tie breaker of our 2 girls and 2 boys, loads of pressure for such a small baby. The baby will keep its secrete for another month before we find out weather the kids will have a brother or sister. Then on to the stress of picking a name! At my 12 week doctor appointment we were able to see the baby with an ultrasound, so I can add a few pictures of this baby. (Good luck figuring out where the baby is)

11 years and counting!

Jared and I will be married for 11 years on Saturday March 6th. Its pretty crazy how time flies! We were married in the American Fork Mount Timpanogas Temple. 4 years later, before we could blink, 2 beautiful 18 month old twin girls joined us together as a family. 3 years later we added Nicolas and 3 years later we added Colby. It amazes me that every year I love Jared a bit more. I am so grateful to my Heavenly Father for the chance to be married to Jared and have a family with him. He is my best friend and has cared for me and protected me better than anyone. So for those of you who had no idea I could be mushy here you go, but dont get used to it.

Sledding

Last January (I think) it snowed on a day the kids had a day off of school. So we went sledding over at a small hill at their school. The kids had a blast. It was a fun day for snow.
